Itinerary Details:

Depart Dulles Airport at 1815 hours arriving Amsterdam at 0745 hours. (departure cities available)

Depart Amsterdam at 1020 hours arriving Nairobi at 2025 hours.

You will be met at Jomo Kenyatta International airport on arrival by our representative and transferred to your Nairobi Hotel for overnight.  Rest of the evening at leisure after your international flight.

Depart from Nairobi:

Early morning breakfast, followed by a short visit to KAREN BLIXEN MUSEUM, dedicated to the author of Out of Africa. There after proceed to the GIRAFFE CENTER, a non-profit organization focused on saving the Rothschild’s giraffe. Here you will learn more about the giraffe and get the chance to feed them. You will enjoy an early lunch and there after depart for the Mount Kenya region arriving early afternoon in good time for a rest and enjoy the view at Mountain Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Serena Mountain Lodge.

The Mountain Lodge

The only ‘tree hotel’ ever to be built on the slopes of Kenya’s legendary Mount Kenya, Mountain Lodge offers a matchless game viewing opportunity whilst combining a glorious panorama of mountain vistas with the primordial splendours of an ancient rainforest. Floating 2,195 m high on the flanks of Kenya’s highest mountain and secreted deep within her largest forest reserve, the lodge offers not only the champagne-clarity of mountain air, the tranquility of the forest and a colourful cavalcade of wildlife but also the chance of scaling the icy peaks of Africa’s second-highest mountain.

Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park:

Early morning breakfast at your Lodge and later depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Game drive enroute arriving in time for Lunch at your lodge. Afternoon at leisure, followed by an evening game drive at the lake to view the thousands of bird among other species. Situated in the heart of Kenya’s rift valley is Africa’s most famous Soda Lake. The park boasts one of the world’s greatest ornithological spectacles, with over 450 species of birds and also a sanctuary to the greatly endangered black rhino. Dinner and over night at Lake Nakuru Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

Depart for The Flamingo Hill Tented Camp (Full Day in Lake Nakuru):

Early morning breakfast followed by time at Leisure and departure to The Flamingo Hill Tented Camp with game drives enroute to arrive in good time for Lunch. After Lunch, time at Leisure and later followed by an afternoon game drive returning to your camp in time for your evening tea, dinner and overnight.

The camp is situated within the famous Lake Nakuru National Park, which lies within the Great Rift Valley in Kenya. The camp is small and exclusive, comprising 25 tents. The tents are furnished with the understated luxury required by the modern traveller. Decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, wrought iron and crisp cottons each tent has been meticulously planned to maximise comfort.

January – Depart for Masai Mara game reserve:

Early morning breakfast and later depart for Masai Mara game reserve with game drives enroute. Arrive at your lodge in good time for Lunch, afternoon at leisure and later followed by a late evening game drive returning in time for dinner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp.

The Mara Intrepids Tented Camp.

Overlooking the Talek River, at the very confluence of the Mara’s four game-viewing areas, Mara Intrepids enjoys one of the most spectacular locations in the world’s best-known wilderness. The camp is a short drive from the Mara River, where more than a million wildebeest and zebra make their perilous migration crossing every July and August. For the remainder of the year, the camp offers some of the world’s finest game viewing, with large local populations of plains game, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, and all the Big Cats. In 2004, some 75% of the footage for the BBC’s famous Big Cat Diary was shot in the vicinity of the camp. Mara Intrepids is 298 kilometres and a six-hour drive from Nairobi, while their all-weather airstrip enables guests to be at the camp within 45 minutes of leaving the capital.

Full Day in Masai Mara:

Dawn, morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara national reserve, Kenya’s best and most scientific game park. At the northern extremity of the unique Serengeti ecosystem, blessed with permanent water supply, the Masai Mara has a thriving permanent population of plains game. Of the hunters “big five” elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard are plentiful, while even the much rarer rhino might come out of the thicket for you. Hyenas are plentiful and the cheetah, a 60 miles per hour day time hunter, is often seen. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight at Mara Intrepids Tented Camp.

Depart for Nairobi:

Early morning game drive, in search of the earlier missed action and later followed by a late breakfast. After breakfast, depart for Nairobi arriving late afternoon in good time to catch your flight to Mombasa departing at 14:00 pm and arriving Mombasa Diani at 15:30dpm. On arrival you will be met by our hotel representative from Leopard Beach and transferred to Leopard Beach Resort to start your two nights and three days beach getaway.

Full day at your resort:

Full day at the beach with optional siteseeing tours, especially a visit to fort Jesus or Wasini Island for those looking forward to go scuba diving or just enjoying nature in the Marine Park.

Final day at the beach and departure:

The rest of the day at leisure with a late checkout followed by an afternoon transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Nairobi departing Diani at 16:00 pm arriving Nairobi at 17:15 pm. On arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to Carnivore restaurant for a special dinner. After dinner, you will be transferred to the international airport at approximately 8:00 pm to catch your International flight.
