Spain and Morocco Escorted Tour
Madrid, Andalucia, Costa del Sol and
|DAY BY DAY ITINERARY|
Day 1: Depart USA
Your trip begins with an overnight transatlantic flight to Madrid. Relax and enjoy the in-flight meal service and onboard entertainment.
Day 2: Madrid
Upon arrival at Madrid airport, collect your luggage and make your way to your hotel (own arrangements). You are then free to explore the city at your leisure this afternoon. Tonight enjoy dinner on your own (extra cost) in one of the many restaurants.
Day 3: Madrid – Seville
After breakfast make your way to the starting point of your escorted tour at the JULIA TRAVEL underground parking slot at Plaza de Oriente, Level 2 (own arrangement) prior to 8:30am departure. Drive along the land of Don Quixote “The Man from La Mancha” to Córdoba. City tour visiting the Mosque and Jewish Quarter. Continue to Seville. Dinner
Overnight: Seville (B, D)
Day 4: Seville
After breakfast you will have a panoramic and monumental city tour visiting the typical Barrio de Santa Cruz with its narrow streets, the park of Maria Luisa and Plaza de Espana. You will have the afternoon at leisure to discover the many beauties of this lovely City. Enjoy dinner with the group. Optional Flamenco tour in Seville (extra cost, paid locally only)

Day 5: Seville – Costa Del Sol
After breakfast you will depart to the Route of the White Villages and Ronda. You will have time at leisure to admire this town of Celtic origin and the marvelous view of the valley and mountain range. We continue to Costa del Sol. Enjoy Dinner with the group.

Day 6: Costa Del Sol – Fez
After breakfast, departure to Algeciras or Tarifa to board the ferry crossing the Strait of Gibraltar towards Africa. Arrival to Morocco, and after customs, continue by Motorcoach to the old city of Fez. Dinner
Overnight: Fez (B, D)
Day 7: Fez
Breakfast and city tour of Fez, the most ancient of the Imperial Cities of Morocco, visiting the most interesting sites of the city; The Royal Palace, Christian and Jewish Quarter, the old Casbah and its narrow streets, quarter of tanners, the fountain Najerine and the great Medina which is declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Optional dinner with show (extra cost, paid locally only).
Overnight: Fez (B, L)
Day 8: Fez – Marrakech
After breakfast, depart to Marrakesh. On the route we take a short panoramic tour of Meknes, where we can admire the beautiful gate, “Bab El Mansour”, the most known monument of the city. Continue through the Mid-Atlas mountains to Marrakesh. Dinner
Overnight: Marrakesh (B, D)
Day 9: Marrakech
After breakfast you will take a morning city sightseeing tour of the South capital, which is located within an extensive oasis between the Atlas Mountains and the pre-deserted area, including the Koutoubia Tower, twin tower of the Giralda in Seville, Saadines Tombs and Bay Palace and Dejna El Fna Square, which is packed with fortune tellers, snake tamers, acrobats, dancers etc. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Optional dinner with show at “Fantasia Chez Ali”.
Overnight: Marrakesh (B, L)
Day 10: Marrakesh – Rabat
Breakfast and departure towards Casablanca, business capital of the country. Panoramic rolling tour of this cosmopolitan city. In the afternoon we continue to Rabat, the capital of the Kingdom of Morocco. Dinner with group

Day 11: Rabat – Tangier
Breakfast. City tour of Rabat including the outside of the Royal Palace, the Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. After the visit departure to Tangier via Larache with a panoramic rolling tour before arriving to the hotel for dinner.
Overnight: Tangier (B, D)
Day 12: Tangier – Costa Del Sol
Breakfast and transfer to the pier to board ferry and cross back the strait towards Spain. Arrival to Costa del Sol. Dinner

Day 13: Costa Del Sol – Granada
After breakfast we depart towards Granada. Visit the impressive La Alhambra with its beautiful Nazari Palaces and impressive Generalife Gardens, the last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms up to the 1492, an amazing monumental ensemble. Optional show of gipsy flamenco (extra cost). Check into hotel in Granada and enjoy dinner with group.
Overnight: in Granada (B, D)
Day 14: Granada – Madrid
After breakfast, departure towards the Imperial City of Toledo (UNESCO World Heritage City), where the three cultures of Spain (Christians, Moorish and Jewish) have lived together. City tour including the most important monuments, its narrow streets and the famous cathedral. Continue to Madrid where the tour ends.
Make your way to your hotel in Madrid (own expense) where you will be free to explore the city at your leisure.

Day 15: Madrid-USA
After breakfast, make your way to the airport for your departure(own arrangements). flight home. (B)
