Day 2 - Arrive Dubai and Welcome Sunset Cruise

Upon arrival to the Dubai airport, you will proceed to Immigration, collect your luggage, and meet your tour guide in the Arrivals Hall to be transferred to your hotel.  Upon arrival you will check-in to your room.  Please have your passport ready for collection.  

The morning is at leisure, to relax or explore the hotel or the local surroundings.  Later today we will depart for the Dubai Marina Yacht Club. 

Upon arrival you will climb aboard a gleaming, majestic yacht with a spacious sun deck and fly bridge seating area.

If you prefer you can relax in the indoors where you will also find cabins, a kitchen, and washrooms. Feel free to bring any food and drinks (at your own expense) and put them in the fridge to enjoy during your cruise. Onboard are complimentary sodas, mineral water, and ice.

Let your captain take care of the navigation as you settle in on deck and sail into the Persian Gulf. Soak up the panoramic views of the city's skyscrapers as you glide along the coast. Snap photos of the Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al-Arab and the towering Atlantis, The Palm Hotel. 

Enjoy the complimentary snacks as you feel the cool sea breeze on your face or cook any food you’ve brought on the barbecue grill in the yacht's kitchen.

Day 3 |  Dubai City Tour, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and Souks

Meet in the lobby at 9:00 a.m.  Today we will travel by private motorcoach to discover the landmarks of Dubai, both old and new. We will see the Dubai Marina, Burj Al Arab, and Burj Khalifa, the world’s highest tower, and much more. Take an ‘abra’ water taxi ride on Dubai Creek and learn about the history of Dubai.

Take in the exotic aromas of Dubai’s Spice Souk and the shine of gold at the Gold Souk, the world’s largest gold market. You will have time to shop at the souks.

You will also visit Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. You will take a journey to the top of the Burj Khalifa (124th Floor) where you will enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the city, the Persian Gulf, and the desert. You will also spend time at the Dubai Mall where  you will experience a diversity of shopping, dining and entertainment options.  

Note: Bring your passport with you for entry into Burj Khalifa and a shawl to cover your arms and shoulders in case you go into a mosque.

After breakfast you will be transferred to the Dubai Expo site.  Entrance, private guide, and roundtrip transfers to the Expo are included.

After breakfast you will be transferred to the Dubai Expo site.  Entrance  and roundtrip transfers to the Expo are included.

Day 6  |  Full Day  Dubai Expo 2020

Day 7| Day of Leisure or Optional Tour

Today is a day of leisure to explore Dubai, go the beach, go shopping or go on optional tour.

Day 8| Abu Dhabi City Tour, The Louvre, and Observation 300

Meet in the lobby at 8:00 a.m.  Today your full day city tour takes you to Louvre Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, also known as the Arabian Jewel. Enroute we will pass Jebel Ali Port, the largest man-made port in the world. 

Our first stop is the Grand Mosque, built in 2007, which is the eighth largest mosque in the world. From there we take a drive along the Corniche to the Breakwater, from which you will enjoy a magnificent view of the city's skyline. 

On our tour we will visit one of Abu Dhabi’s cultural treasures:  The Louvre Abu Dhabi. The museum deserves a visit for its innovative architecture and exhibits.  View the museum’s honeycomb-style ‘floating’ dome and cuboid buildings; admire the art and artifacts on loan from the Louvre Museum in Paris and other French museums; learn how the art is arranged to connect past civilizations through time. You will have ample time to view the art and enjoy the museum.

Our last stop of the day will be Observation Deck 300.  You will ascend to the 74th floor of Tower II of the Etihad Towers complex.  The Observation Deck 300 offers breathtaking views of Abu Dhabi’s cityscape and surrounding islands. This is the capital’s highest vantage point - the ‘300’ stands for ‘metres in the air’ where you will take in the sights while enjoying delicious refreshments, light snacks, or scrumptious High Tea.

Note:  When visiting the mosque please bring a head covering and make sure your arms and legs are fully covered.

Day 9 | Farewell Friday Brunch at Atlantis

Meet in the lobby at 9:00 a.m.  Today you will take a panoramic tour of modern Dubai.  Your tour will include a photo stop at the iconic Atlantis, The Palm Hotel, and a stroll along Dubai's vast coastline. After your morning tour you will go to the Atlantis for your Farewell Friday Brunch at Saffron.  

With thousands of restaurants serving virtually every cuisine (and beverage) from around the world, brunch in the City of Gold is its own kind of spectacle.  Brunch is an extensive, multi-hour affair that combines every meal you have ever had. Stylish attendees, lavish spreads with free-flowing bubbly, and resident D.J.s spinning party tunes are just the beginning in a city where Friday brunch is an institution. (The workweek in Dubai begins on Sunday.) These decadent feasts make brunches in New York and London seem like quick appetizers.

If you are departing on the flight to Washington Dulles, you will depart the hotel at 10:30 p.m. on January 14.  Your flight to the USA departs at 2:25 a.m. on January 15.

Today you will be transferred to the airport according to your airline schedule.
